Referral service · Work done by independent TDLR-licensed contractors

Who we are

Liberty Hill AC Repair is a referral service. We are not an HVAC contractor, we don't hold an air conditioning and refrigeration contractor license, and we don't perform, supervise, or warrant any heating or cooling work.

In Texas, anyone who performs or offers to perform air conditioning and refrigeration work for the public must be licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) under Occupations Code Chapter 1302. That's why every request we receive goes to an independent contracting company that holds that license.

What happens when you submit a request

  1. You fill out the form with your name, phone, town, the service you need, and a short description.
  2. We forward your request to an independent, licensed and insured HVAC contractor that serves your town.
  3. The contractor contacts you to schedule, diagnose and quote. Prices, scheduling, warranties and the contract for any work all come from that contractor.

What it costs you

Nothing. Homeowners don't pay us. We may be compensated by the contractor for the referral. That compensation doesn't change your price, and you're never obligated to hire anyone.

What we don't do

Check any contractor's license

You can look up any Texas air conditioning and refrigeration contractor at TDLR's license search. Texas rules require a licensed contractor's proposals and invoices to show the company name, address and phone number, the TDLR license number, and TDLR's contact information. If something seems wrong, you can file a complaint with TDLR at tdlr.texas.gov.

Safety

If you smell gas, a carbon monoxide alarm sounds, or there's smoke or fire, leave the home and call 911. Don't use our form for emergencies like these.
